All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Alexander, Wanda June Nixon Wanda June Nixon Alexander, 71, of Bella Vista, Arkansas died Monday, January 5, 2004 at her home in Bella Vista. She was born June 4, 1932 in Yukon, Oklahoma to Woodford A. and Bessie Lee Orcutt. June was a major contributor and charter member of the 'CX' Chapter of P.E.O. and a member of Community Church of Bella Vista, Arkansas. She was an avid traveler who will be sorely missed for her keen sense of humor and fun loving personality. She was preceded in death by her mother, Bessie Lee Orcutt, and father, Woodford A. Orcutt, who was killed in action during World War II in Italy. Also preceded in death by husband of 37 years, David R. Nixon. She is survived by her husband of 12 years, William F. Alexander of Bella Vista, Arkansas; son, David G. Nixon, and his wife, Janice, of Springdale, Arkansas; son, Randal R. Nixon, and his wife, Deirdre, of Portland, Oregon; step children, Jim Alexander, Kathy Bell, and Susan Norris; ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren. In addition, June leaves behind brother, Robert Orcutt, sister, Virginia Dillon, and their spouses of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and numerous loving relations and friends. Memorial services will be held at the Community Church, 75 East Lancashire, Bella Vista, Arkansas at 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 9, 2004 and at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery Chapel in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 10, 2004. Arrangements are by the Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, Arkansas. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bella Vista Community Church, 75 East Lancashire Blvd., Bella Vista, Arkansas 72714 or to St. Mary's Hospice, 1001 West Walnut, Suite 3, Rogers, Arkansas 72756.
