All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== :Resurrection Cemetery--OKC OK Andis, Emmett Emmett Andis, age 75, of Yukon, passed away Wed., April 9, 2003, in Bethany. He was born July 15, 1927, in Geary, OK, and had been living in Yukon for the last 35 years, coming here from Geary. Emmett was a retired meat inspector, having worked for the USDA at Wilson Packing Plant in OKC for 9 years. He was an Army Veteran of Korea, having earned the rank of Master Sergeant. Emmett was a member of the Williams Memorial Church of the Nazarene in Bethany, where he served on the church board and multiple church committees. He was also a volunteer fireman for the Richland community. Survivors include his wife, Alice Mae Andis of the home; daughters, Donna Paddock of OKC, Santhia Smith of Yukon, Dena Weber of Westphalia, KS, and Martha Laws and Marsha Morris, both of Yukon; brothers, David Andis of Choctaw and James Andis of Norman; sisters, Ramona Krober of Sacramento, CA and Ruth Martin of Yukon; and 6 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Fri., April 11, in Williams Memorial Church of the Nazarene in Bethany, with burial in Resurrection Cemetery in OKC.
