Mass of Christian Burial: 2 p.m. Monday, St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church Chapel. Graveside service: 2 p.m. Tuesday in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Fort Worth, under the direction of Broussard's North Major Drive, Beaumont. Visitation: 1 p.m. Monday at the church until service time. Memorials: Odyssey Hospice, 550 Fannin, Suite 1230, Beaumont 77707; St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church building fund, 6825 Gladys, Beaumont 77706; or a charity of donor's choice. Louise "Aunt Lou" Armstrong was born July 31, 1912, in El Reno, Okla., to John and Rosa Brown Welter. She resided in Fort Worth from 1957 to 1998. "Aunt Lou" worked for First National Bank as an executive secretary for the trust department until her retirement. She moved to Beaumont in 1998. The family wishes to express a special thank you to St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, the nurses and staff members at Collier Park, The Clairmont and Odyssey Hospice for their love and support. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Armstrong. Survivors: Niece, Pat Ford and husband, Watt; nephew, Jack Reidy, all of Beaumont; great-nieces and great-nephews, Watt Ford III and wife, Jennifer, Catharine Sonnenberg and husband, John, Schott Ford and wife, Lisa, John Ford and wife, Michea, Ann Shorts and husband, Will, Patricia Nantz and husband, Bob, Jean Elrod and husband, Danny; many great-great- nieces and great-great-nephews; very special friend, Alison McLaughlin Daurell and her son, Maxine Daurell of St. Louis, Mo.
