She was born August 1, 1925, to Everett and Amy May (Maxey) Hawley in El Reno, OK. Birdie was a member of Crossroads Cathedral. She is survived by: one daughter: Donna Smith and husband Jack; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, T. H. Hawley.
