She was born Mar. 7, 1940, in Ft. Smith, AR, to Elzie & Ilez Dodge. She married Charles Cusick in 1958 and moved to OKC. A Charter Member of Knob Hill Baptist Church, OKC, she was very active in preschool ministry. Moving to Mustang in 1973, she was a member of Chisholm Heights Baptist, Mustang, serving as Children's Department Director. Barbara was instrumental in establishing a Mission church which is now Canadian Valley Baptist Church, Yukon. Faithful to her church ministry, she was also active in WMU. A very devoted wife, mother, & grandmother, she was always planning family gatherings and parties. Preceded in death by her parents, Elzie & Ilez Dodge, she is survived by her husband, Charles Cusick; son, Stan Cusick & wife Cheri; daughter, Denise Chapman & husband Steve; grandchildren, Jessica, Dalton, Adam & Kali and sisters, Violet Martin, Mary Richmond & Kay Carter. Donations may be made to Children's Ministries, c/o, Canadian Valley Baptist Church, Yukon, OK. A viewing will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Thurs. Apr. 3, 2003, at the Yanda & Son Funeral Home. Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Fri., Apr. 4, at the Yanda & Son Chapel, Yukon, with graveside services at 11:00 am, Sat., Apr. 5, at Coop Prairie Cemetery, Mansfield, AR.
