Flack, was born Dec. 12, 1896 in Perry, Iowa. Her parents moved to El Reno in 1901 and from there to Roger Mills County in 1902. She was converted in 1908 and joined the Rankin Methodist Church of which she was a member until her death. She was married to James Conrad January 17, 1915 who is left to mourn her loss together with a father, mother, sister. Mrs. Laura Conrad and friends. She passed from this life May 19, 1916, aged 19 years, 5 months and 7 days. The funeral services were held at the Rankin Methodist Church Saturday afternoon, May 20, 1916 with Rev. Martin in charge. No black was used in draping the church. All was white-emblematic of purity--with cedar vines and flowers, bearing messages of loving sympathy, were brougbht in abundance and the many friends did all in their power during these last sad hours to comfort the bereaved. Blanche's last words were, "Do not cry" and though we weep in our loneliness, for her we have the asssurance of a rest and peace and joy without end. Mr. and Mrss. Jacob Flack of Piedmont, OK paents of Mr. and Mrs. George Goenring of Elk City attended the funeral Mrs. Geohring was formedrly Miss Orpha Conrad, sister of the bereaved husband. The Misses Leftridge sisters of Mrs. Flack from Adair, Ill, were unable to get here before Sunday evening and are returing home in a few days because of the illness of their mother.
