Mr. Crider was a native of El Reno, Okla. He lived in Merced 38 years. He was a self-employed veterinarian for 40 years. He also taught veterinary science at Merced College for 17 years. He wrote articles for Western Dairyman. He was a graduate of Oklahoma State University at Stillwater. He was a member of First Southern Baptist Church in Winton. He is survived by his wife, Betty Crider of Merced; children, Kathryn Pish, Michelle Crider, Frank Crider III and Darcy Seibert; sister, Emma Lee Oltermann; brother, John Crider; and 10 grandchildren. A funeral will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at First Southern Baptist Church, Winton. Burial at Fresno Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Stratford Evans Merced Chapel.
