Raymond J., was born March 22, 1924, to Daniel and Clara Franz Dill at Hinton, OK. He died Wed., Jan. 29, 2003, at Park View Hospital in El Reno, Raymond was the chief time keeper of the Southern Division of the Rock Island Railroad retiring in 1985. He was a veteran of WWII and Korea serving in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Church, American Legion and National Association of Retired Veteran Railway Employees. Raymond married Cathryn Carnott Dill on August 22, 1950, at Calver, OK. Cathryn survives him in death. He is also survived by sons and daughters-in-laws, Joe and Beverly Dill of Ringwood, OK, Dan and Julie Dill of El Reno, David and Colleen Dill of El Reno, Stephen and Veronica Dill of El Reno; daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Ron Edmonson of Munford, TN; brothers; Francis Dill of El Reno, Clarence Dill of El Reno, Orville Dill of Wichita Fails, TX; grandchildren; Brandon Dill, Shelia Manning, Kyle Mears, Brad Edmonson, Mark Edmonson, Daniel Dill, Justin Dill, Katie Dill, Allison Dill, T.J. Dill, and Lorin Ball; 5 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Leona Dill Covey. A Prayer Service will be held 7:30 p.m. Fri., Jan. 31 ,at Benson Memorial Chapel in El Reno. Mass of Christian Burial will be 1 p.m. Sat., Feb. 1, at Sacred Heart Church in El Reno. Burial will be in the El Reno Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sacred heart School or Russell-Murray Hospice.
