Catherine Driskill

YUKON, Okla. - Catherine Driskill, a former longtime Amarillo resident, 
died Wednesday, Nov. 11, 1998.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today in Chapel Hill Memorial 
Gardens Cemetery in Oklahoma City. Arrangements are by Choice Funeral Care 
of Yukon.

Miss Driskill moved to Amarillo in 1926. She was a teacher and had taught 
social studies for 41 years, the majority of the time at Sam Houston 
Junior High. She was active in professional organizations and was a 50-
year member of Polk Street United Methodist Church. In 1976, she moved to 
Spanish Cove Retirement Village in Yukon.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
