Jary T. Fuller, Sr., longtime Piedmont resident, passed away Wed., April 16, 2003, at the age of 66. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, and his wife of 40 years, Judy. Jary went to work for Western Electric after discharge from the military and retired from Lucent Technologies in 1995. Jary was an accomplished guitarist, singer, and salesman. An avid barbershopper, he was the lead singer for the quartet 'The Cleff Blenders', winning multiple national awards while traveling the U.S. He is survived by seven children, Jary, Jr. and wife, Freda, OKC, Theresa Brown & husband, Rex, OKC, Father Timothy Fuller, Elk City, Guy & wife, Sarah, Crescent, Steven & wife, Shelley, OKC, Brian & wife, Sarah, OKC, J'anne Hudson & husband, Bobby, Piedmont. Also survived by 16 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. A Rosary will be held Sunday, April 19, at 6:00 p.m., at Vondel Smith Mortuary North, with Mass of Christian burial at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, on Monday, April 20, at 10:00 a.m. Committal service will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
