All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::El Reno Cemetery--El Reno OK Haynes, Joan Marie (Wilson) Joan Marie (Wilson), 69 went to be with the Lord on Oct. 3, 2003 after a short illness. She was born Dec. 8, 1933 to Kathryne & Eurice Wilson. Joan graduated from El Reno High School in 1952. She married Virgil L. Haynes, Nov. 28, 1952. She was a former member and played golf for many years at Willow Creek Country Club. She worked in the medical field for over 20 years. She was a member of the Heartland Community Church, OKC. She lived most of her life in OKC and only lived 1 1/2 years in Arlington, TX next to her daughter, son-in-law and two grandkids. Joan was a loving mother & grandmother. She was also known as 'Nana' to her four grandchildren. She loved them and her two dogs, Nick & Telsha very much. She was an excellent cook, pianist & seamstress. Joan was an avid sports fan and a loyal OU Sooner fan. She made every effort to attend all of her grandkids games. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and one sister, Rita. She is survived by two sons, Dwight & Doug Haynes of OKC, one daughter, Dana Hood and son-in-law, Dr. John Hood of Arlington, TX, 4 grandchildren, Kim Haynes of Dallas, TX, Cole Haynes of OKC, Natalie Haynes and Tyler Hood of Arlington, TX and many other relatives & friends. Funeral Services officiated by Pastor Ken Senchal, will be held Wed., Oct. 8th at 10:00 a.m. at Huber-Benson Funeral Home, El Reno, OK. Interment will be at El Reno Cemetery. Memorials: Should friends desire memorials are requested to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd St. Suite 1100, New York, NY 10016.
