All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Lawton Constitution 10 Jan 2003 Hummingbird, Velma Veronica Edge ANADARKO — Funeral for Velma Veronica Edge Hummingbird, 57, Anadarko, will be at 10 a.m. today at Victory Assembly of God Church, Anadarko, with the Rev. Milton Otis officiating. Ms. Hummingbird died Monday, Jan. 6, 2003, in Chickasha. Burial will be at Binger Cemetery under direction of Smith-Hackney Funeral Home, Anadarko. She was born Dec. 29, 1945, in Concho, to Frank and Helen Shaw Edge. She was a homemaker and a member of the Caddo Tribe. She was also a member of House of Holiness Church. Survivors include nine children: Marilyn Bullbear Brown, Franklin BullBear and Richard BullBear, all of Anadarko; Carolyn BullBear Chairez, Linda BullBear and Pamela BullBear, all of Oklahoma City; Oscar BullBear Jr., Granite; and Stanford BullBear and Mike BullBear, both of McAlester; four sisters: Kathy Barton, Sarah Edge, Marie Edge and Thelma Whitewolf; a brother, Willard Patrick "Tony" Shaw; 16 grandchildren; 10 great- grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and other family members.
