Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday at Thompson's Harveson & Cole Funeral Home, where a visitation will be held 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday. Burial: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Helen Ann Brown was born Jan. 30, 1910, in El Reno, Okla. A telephone operator for Southwestern Bell for 33 years, she was a member of the Telephone Pioneer Association. She was a faithful member of Birchman Baptist Church, where she was actively involved in the BYKOTA Sunday School Class and the Livewires. Helen was preceded in death by both of her husbands, Harry D. Brown and Alex A. Heard; and her parents, W.J. and Bertha Elizabeth Montgomery Brown. Survivors: Her niece, Mary Slater and her husband, Bill; great- nieces, Karin Bullock, Ann and Sara Slater; great-nephew, Alan Slater; great-great-nephews, Zachary and Nathan Bullock; and great- great-niece, Rachel Bullock.
