SPARKS on 4 January 1916 in Canadian Co., OK. I have never been able to find out the circumstances of her death or place of burial. Her sons, Richard and Roy ISAACS, killed Thomas N. SPARKS shortly thereafter for murdering their mother. Mary Elizabeth "Lizzie" ELLIS was born 21 April 1867; married 1st to John L. BYRNE, 2nd to George ISAACS. George (with Doolin gang) was convicted of murdering Sheriff McGee in 1895 and was sentenced to 90 years at Huntsville. "Lizzie" was charged with murdering a neighbor over a cattle dispute, along with her brother, John ELLIS, in 1898 at Chickasha,OK but verdict was later overturned. Any information would be welcomed. --------------------------------------------------------------------
