All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.html ========================================================================== Lawton Constitution 03 Sep 2005 Marguerite 'Peggy' Kopochus MUSTANG -- Graveside service for Marguerite "Peggy" Kopochus, 96, Mustang, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Post Cemetery, Fort Sill with the Rev. Cliff Gravitt, pastor, Northside Baptist Church, officiating. Mrs. Kopochus died Thursday, Sept. 1, 2005, at an Oklahoma City hospital. Arrangements are by Becker Funeral Home. She was born Jan. 3, 1909, in New York to Alexander and Isabella Montgomery Walker. She grew up in the New York area where she graduated from high school and attended college. She married retired Sgt. Maj. Joseph V. Kopochus on Jan. 21, 1946, in Las Vegas. He died Oct. 18, 1990. She was a homemaker. Survivors include five children; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.
