He was born March 21, 1911 in Banner, OK to James and Stella Knox. He worked at Tinker AFB as a supervisor for thirty four years before retiring. He also served in the US Army and was a veteran of WWII Raymond was a staff sergeant for company A. and served as a military police officer for the munitions depot in Parsons, KS. He was also a member of the VFW post 1857 and a past member of the Moose Lodge. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening. One of his main hobbies was raising honey bees and sold honey to many local groceries stores for numerous years. Survivors include wife, Evelyn Azlin of the home; son, David Knox, and numerous nieces and nephews as well as 2 grandchildren. Services will be 2:00 P.M., Tues. Dec. 17, 2002 in the Smith & Turner Mortuary Chapel, 201 E. Main, Yukon. Interment will follow at the Yukon Cemetery. SMITH-TURNER 201 E.
