All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Daily Oklahoman 1 Aug 2002 Knowlton, Patricia Anne "Patty" Patricia 'Patty' Anne Knowlton, 47, went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 29, 2002, while peacefully sleeping at her home in Union City. Memorial services in celebration of her life will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 3rd at First Baptist Church of Union City with Rev. Eric Stock officiating. She was born on April 17, 1955, and raised in Philadelphia, PA. She married John Knowlton on July 4, 1978, in Coudersport, PA, and moved to Oklahoma where she lived most of her adult life. Patricia's kindness and care for others was apparent in her years of work in nursing homes as a Certified Dietary Manager and catering services at OKCCC, her regular donation of blood-most recently on Sept. 11, 2001, - and finally in her fulfilled wishes of donating her organs in order to help those in great need. She enjoyed her pet birds, making pottery, and plant and water gardening. She is a vibrant and wonderful wife, mother, sister, friend, and co-worker who will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Jean Eastburn. She is survived by her husband, John, of the home; one daughter, Heather Lea Parker and husband Carey of OKC; one brother, Bill Eastburn, of Pennsylvania; one sister, Linda Terry, of Clinton; two aunts, Billie Jo Barrett and Mary Lou Mulhall, both of Pennsylvania; two nieces and one nephew. As Patty was a member of the First Baptist Church, the family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the First Baptist Church, Rt. 1, Box 225, Union City, OK, 73090. Arrangements handled by McNeil'S Mustang Funeral Service. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to Canadian County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/canadian/canadian.html
