April 13, 2003 in Yukon. He was born Oct. 16, 1947 in Weatherford and has been living in Yukon since the fall of 1973. He graduated from Hollis High School in 1965 & from SWOSU in Weatherford in 1973, where he worked as a police office in Clinton while attending college. After college, Mark worked at CMI, Worthington Pump in Shawnee, and Mistletoe Express in OKC. In 1981 Mark started his own business, Energy Management & Protective Services, Inc, as an Infrared Thermographer. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Yukon, the American Society of Non-Destructive Testing, active in the yearly State Special Olympics, and enjoyed cooking, helping others and coffee & friendships at Mae's. The greatest thing he loved doing, was being with his family. He was preceded in death by his father Robert Vern & brother Merle Ray McClendon. Mark is survived by his wife Sheryl of the home, sons Chris & Matt both of the home, daughter Shana McClendon of Yukon, mother Zoie McClendon of Weatherford, and his brothers Monte of Boise, ID, and Mike of Carrollton, TX. Mark was a loving husband, father, son, brother & friend. He loved the Lord and his family very much and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Funeral services will be Wed. April 16 at 10 AM in Bethel Baptist Church, burial in the Yukon Cemetery.
