Born July 6, 1928 in Sulphur to Andy and Mamie Todd Mann, he died Tuesday, Oct. 24 in Oklahoma City. He had been living in Yukon for the past 35 years, coming there from Sulphur. He worked in the maintenance department of AT&T for over 20 years. He was a member of the Yukon Masonic Lodge, the Eastern Star and the AT&T Pioneers, and enjoyed fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, "Butch" Weldon, Jr. ; a sister, Lavern Courtney and brother, Leon Mann. Survivors include his wife, Lela, of the home; a stepson, Jerry Hurn, Yukon, three brothers, Harvey and Bill, both of Moore, and Rex of Del City, and granddaughter, Denise Simpson and husband, Scott; great grandchildren, Lacey LeRette and Chance Simpson, and great great granddaughter, Kaylyn Huff, all of Kansas City, Mo. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to Canadian County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/canadian/canadian.html
