Vallie Moore was born March 12, 1935, and died on Thursday, June 17, 2004, at his home in Amber. ========== The Chickasha Express-Star 20 June 2004 VOLLIE H. MOORE Funeral services for Vollie Harvey Moore, 69, of Amber, Oklahoma, will be held Monday, June 21, 2004, at 10:30 a.m. in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Chickasha, with Brother Kenneth Walker and Dewain Jones officiating. Vollie Harvey Moore was born March 12, 1935, in Fort Reno, Oklahoma, to Carl H. Moore and Evelyn (Ward) Moore, and died Thursday June 17, 2004, at his home in Amber, Oklahoma. Volie married Loretta Mae Gilbert on February 9, 1954, in Chickasha, Oklahoma. During the 1950s Vollie served in the U.S. Navy and U.S. Army. After leaving the armed forces, he was a cross country truck driver for many years, he served as an ordained minister for the Church of God, and he owned and operated Pops Antique Shop in Chickasha until his time of death. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints until his health prevented him from attending. He was preceded in death by both parents, one son, Ronald L. Moore, one grandson, Kylie Robinson, and one brother, Carl Dexter Moore. Survivors include his wife Loretta Moore, of the home; four sons; Garry and Guwanna Moore, Terry and Charlotte Moore , of Amber, Oklahoma, Michael and Robyn Moore, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, and Carl E. Moore of Little Axe, Oklahoma; two daughters: Angela and Bob Kinzinger, of Amber, Oklahoma, and Carol and Johnny Miller of Chickasha, Oklahoma; one brother, Elip M. Moore of Noble, Oklahoma; 13 grandchildren: Charlene, Sandra, Carli, Nicole, Chris, Carl Lee, Sabrina, Allison, Jeremy, Nick, Dustin, Greg, Summer; 4 great grandchildren; Lillie, Dakota, Charles and Christopher.
