Ruth Maxey
The Daily Oklahoman - Saturday, March 30, 1985

MAXEY Ruth, age 81 of El Reno, died March 28, 1985. Born in El Reno, 
and was a lifetime Canadian County Resident. She was a retired 
elementary school teacher, and was a graduate of Central State 
University and the University of Oklahoma, member of First Christian 
Church, Study Club, Retired Teachers Assoc., and was Past Matron of 
the Order Of The Eastern Star at El Reno. Survived by son, Kendall of 
El Reno and Dick of Amarillo, TX; brother, Floyd Palmer of El Reno; 
sister, Bettye Hardy of OKC; 4 grandchildren. Funeral 2pm Saturday, 
First Christian Church, El Reno, interment in El Reno Cemetery. 
Directed by Wilson Funeral Home.
