She was born December 8, 1918 in El Reno, Oklahoma to Claude and Bessie Haynes. Lorene is preceded in death by her husband, Rollin Nash, Sr., to whom she was married for 35 years prior to his death in 1981. She is survived by three children, Phillip R. Schwartz and his wife Lynn, Rolene Brown and her husband Ray, and Rollin Nash, Jr. and his wife Susan, and 4 grandchildren, Dale Schwartz, Heather Brown, Cory Brown and Kelsea Nash. Lorene retired with her husband in 1976 from the real estate business. They co-owned and operated Nash Real Estate for 18 years, including operating as the Area Broker for FHA for all of Northwest Oklahoma City and Canadian and Kingfisher Counties. Lorene was very active in her childrens activities and civic and fraternal organizations. She was a 50 year member of Beta Sigma Phi, and was a charter member of Xi Chi and Zeta Chapters, holding all offices in each Chapter. She was a member of Credit Womens International and Northside Business and Professional Women organizations. Lorene was a member of Eastern Star, Siloam Chapter, was a past President of the De Molay Mother's Club, was past President of the OSU Delta Tau Delta Mother's Club, and a member of Council Road Baptist Church. Lorene loved her arts and crafts and won several first place blue ribbons at the Oklahoma State Fair. First and foremost, Lorene was a loving mother and the best friend anyone could have. Her compassion and concern for others was unlimited, always concerned first about others, rather than herself. She will be deeply missed by countless members of her family, friends and, previous business associates. Services will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, January 3, 2003 at Guardian West Funeral Home Chapel with interment at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery. GUARDIAN WEST 41 & N.
