He was born in San Jose, CA on Sept. 19, 1933. Gordon was preceded in death by his father, Shelby Pace; his mother and step-father, Leola and James Angus; brother, Gene Dickens; sister and brother-in-law Louise and Cecil Roseburry. He moved to Mustang in 1970 and remained there until his death. He leaves behind his wife of 43 years, Virginia of the home; a son, Norman Pace of Mustang; son and daughter-in-law, Gordon Grant and Sandra Pace of Longmont, CO; son Jimmy Don Pace of Los Alamos, NM; step-son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Loc Sonaggera of Fremont, CA; step- son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Bonnie Sonaggera of Altus; step- daughter and son-in law, Ruth and Terry Henderson of Shawnee; niece and nephew-in-law, Ce Lou and Matthew Paulin of San Jose, CA; 18 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and a host of friends. He was a cross-country truck driver for 10 years and a Mustang newspaper agent for the Daily Oklahoman for 12 years. He was currently employed by Dynacare of OKC. His favorite past time was Crappie fishing at Eufaula. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2002 at Mustang Heights Baptist Church with interment following in Mustang Cemetery.
