All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Rubes, Christy Dawn Christy Dawn Rubes 'Critter', of Yukon, entered the Kingdom of Heaven on September 21, 2002, in Oklahoma City at the age of 26. She was born February 10, 1976, in Oklahoma City, to Jesse and Margaret (Kirk) Jones. Raised in Yukon, Christy graduated from Yukon High School in 1994, and received an Associates Degree in Surgical Technology from Metro Technology in Oklahoma City. She was employed at Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City for six years, specializing in Cardiovascular Surgery and most recently worked at Physician's Hospital in Oklahoma City. A hard and devoted worker, she dedicated her life to helping others. A caring, sharing and loving person, Christy was affectionate and 'A Daddy's Girl'. She was the best wife, daughter, sister and friend and was very close to the ones she loved. During her spare time, she enjoyed fishing and traveling. Christy is survived by her husband, James Rubes of the home; father & mother, Jesse & Margaret Jones of Yukon; sister, Sherry Sneed of Piedmont, OK; father & mother-in-law, Donald & Billie Rubes of Yukon; paternal grandparents, Clifford & Nadine Neathery of Yukon; her cherished dog 'Buddy', as well as a host of other beloved family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 26, 2002, at the Yanda & Son Chapel, Yukon, OK, with interment at the Yukon Cemetery.
