Interment will be in Green Hill Cemetery, Davis, with Hale's Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Born September 2, 1965 in El Reno, to Herbert A. and Vonda Lea (Masters) Albers, she died Monday, Oct. 23 at Tulsa after a courageous battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents, Ray and Thelma Masters and Adolph and Eula Albers. After graduating from Mustang High School in 1983, she continued her education at the University of Central Oklahoma, where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in Business in 1987. More recently, she received her Master's in Education from East Central. She was employed at Davis Public School, where she taught keyboarding in the Middle School. She was also the seventh grade and Junior High Cheerleading sponsor. She was a member of the Faith Center Church in Sulphur where she was active with the Advanced Faith Connection Group. Surviving are two children, Ashley Megan Rush and Jonathan Michael Rush, of the home; the father of her children, Don Rush, Edmond; her mother, Vonda Wright, Sulphur; two brothers, Bill Albers, Azle, Texas and Brad Albers, Edmond; an aunt and uncle, Joe and Fran Masters, Westberry and several cousins and friends. Pallbearers will be Brent Behrens, Tim Lochridge, Jim Birkes, Chuck Coffee, Jim Row, Mark Richardson and Fred Womack. Honorary bearers will be the seventh grade, the junior high cheerleading squad and the junior high football team. A college fund for Jonathan and Ashley Rush has been started at Landmark Band of Davis.
