Juanita was born January 7, 1911 to John and Emma Stafford in El Reno, Oklahoma. She retired after thirty years of service with the Internal Revenue Service. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Henry Walton, George Fabian and Roger Sturgeon; brothers Roy A. Stafford and Orman Stafford and sister Launa Stafford Gholston. She is survived by one brother, Monroe P. Stafford; nieces Frances Kensinger, Lynne Stafford, Victoria Kensinger and Glenda Stafford; nephews, Jerry Stafford, Russ Stafford, Thomas Stafford, Barry Stafford and Randy Stafford. She was also survived by several great nephews and nieces: Jerry Paul Stafford, Angelique Lytle, Cara Freeland, Rylie Ann Stafford, Lauren Stafford, Rebecca Stafford, Trevor Stafford and Allison Stafford. Great great nephews and nieces: Cary P. Stafford and Abigail Stafford. She was active in Eastern Star for many years and was a past Grand Worthy Matron, member of 40th St. Baptist Church, and the Federal Retired Employees Association. She enjoyed many activities including playing bridge, traveling, gardening, shopping, attending family events and shrine events especially clown and car units. She was deeply devoted to her family and was considered the matriarch of the family. She was the peacemaker. Her last place of residence was at Quail Ridge Retirement Center in Oklahoma City and she very much enjoyed living there and participating in all of the activities. She was last year's Valentine Queen. She loved life and life loved her. She will be deeply missed. Service will be Tuesday, February 11, 2003 at Wilson Funeral Home, 100 N. Barker Ave., El Reno, Oklahoman at 10:30 A.M. with burial to follow at El Reno Memorial Cemetery.
