He was born in Union City, Oklahoma on February 7, 1916. Ray graduated from El Reno, Oklahoma High School and he served in the United States Navy during WWII for over three years. He worked for J.C. Penney Co. for 25 years and he also owned and operated Ray's Fabric Centers for 14 years. He also held many miscel-laneous eclectic and often fun jobs during his youth and adult years. Ray married the love of his life, Margaret Maggie H. Smith, on July 27, 1941. Ray was active in the Ebbetts Pass Moose in Arnold, California. He re-ceived special state- wide recognition for Dedication and Support. He was al-so a member of the San Jose Elks, the Sequoia Woods Country Club in Arnold, California and many other business organizations. Ray loved music, golf and little dogs. He is survived by his daughters, Judith Judi R. D'Innocenti of Fresno, Carole Ann Milton of Bellevue, Washington and his beloved son-in-law, Larry Milton; nephew, Bob Barnes of Yukon, Oklahoma; and niece, Bonnie Rose of Port Aransas, Texas and her family.
