All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Woods, Ada Marie Ada Marie 'Ninny, 81, beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother joined our Lord on August 14, 2002. She was born on April 11, 1921 to William and Mary Elizabeth Newby in Fanshaw, OK. She was raised in Mustang and resided in OKC until her death. Ada Marie retired in 1999 from the OKC Public Schools Food Service Program. She loved to swim at the YMCA. sew, and grow beautiful flowers. She was a member of the Southside Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William Forest 'Bill' Woods, two brothers and a sister-in-law John Newby and his wife Allie, and Claude Newby; and a sister, Inez Burkes. She is survived by three sisters, Audie Wheeler of OKC; Maydell Hopkins of OKC; Betty Quinn and her husband Clifford of Cookson, OK; and a sister-in-law, Margaret Roberts and her husband Charles of Tuttle, OK. She is survived by four daughters, Sandy Choate and her husband Bob of Okemah; Judy Leake and her husband Roger of OKC; Janis Price and her husband Gilbert of OKC; and Carolyn Davis and her husband James also of OKC; granddaughter Connie Fowler of Okemah, Sonja Clagg and her husband Marlin of Chickasha, Denise Martin and her husband Ronnie of Mounds, and Deanna Collins of OKC; grandsons Tink Collins of OKC and a very special grandson Steve Embery who was the light of her life and his wife Sherrie of OKC; great grandchildren Lindsey, Cassie Dawn, and Jason Fowler, Shephanie and Scott Clagg, Tyler, Shelbi and Garrett Martin, Cody, Heath and Hunter Embery, and Dru and Doug Collins; and numerous other family and friends who will miss her dearly. The family wishes to thank Hospice of Okla. County and nurses Debbie and Denya, they were our angels. Services will be Friday, August 16 at 2 PM at Southside Assemble of God with interment following in Arlington Memory Gardens Cemetery.
