It is about 500 yards east of Clinton Owens road and cannot be seen from the road. Most burials here were prior to statehood. Have also seen the name of the cemetery spelled FREE-O. ********************************************************************************* First one is my GGrandfather J H W Morris Born in Arkansas lived in Texas from 1860 until around the late 1890 and Came into Carter County. Died January 23, 1902 Second one is Sarah F Day Morris - b. Dec. 25, 1843 d. Feb 12, 1917 the stone had been broken off the base lying on its back for a long time that is the reason for the darkening of the stone making it hard to read. the inscription says Sarah F Wife of J H W Morris My G Grandparents. Third one is John W Morris his stone is also hard to read. b. Feb 1865 d. 15 OCT 1927 --My G Uncle Number 4 Edna Morris This is daughter of G Uncle John W. Morris and His wife Anna Rose Finney b. 1 MAR 1908 d 3 JAN 1913 Number 5 Sterling W David son of Basil Pryor David and Emily Dee Morris b 8 JAN 1889 d. 3 JAN 1898 Number 6 J O Morris b. 21 JUL 1886 d. 1 MAR 1908 son of James H Morris and Florence A Underwood Morris My Great Uncle and Aunt. Numer 7 Dama Abia Burget Moore Singletary b. 15 JAN 1834 d. 30 JAN 1901 wife of 1 Leander Moore in Missouri after she got to Texas marriage 2 Ithamer S Singletary He was my GGGrandfather. Number 8 This headstone I have no Idea it was just the marked grave with a oldest b date they found.
