Wilson- Services for Lawanda "Fay' McMillen Abshire, 61, Los Banos, California., 
formerly of Wilson, will be at 2 pm Monday at Alexander Funeral Home Chapel 
with the Rev. Shane Hall officiating. Interment will follow at Hewitt Cemetery.

   Born May 28, 1941, in Wilson to Albert L. and Edith C.(Way) McMillen, she 
passed away Jan. 29, 2003, at a Modesto, California hospital. She was preceded 
in death by a sister, Naomi Bray; and two brothers, A.C . and Donnie McMillen.

   She grew up at Wilson where she attended school. She married Billy Ray "Bud" 
Abshire November 16, 1957. They later moved to California where she had been 
employed as an nurses aide at Los Banos Community Hospital and Los Banos 
Convalescent Hospital and also Tri Valley Growers.

  Survivors include two sons, Billy Ray Abshire Jr. and Mickey Abshire both of 
Ozark, Mo; two daughters, Donna Abshire, Los Banos and Trisha Silva, Coulterville, 
California; two sisters, Fern Fulton of Wilson and Linda Jeffers of Bakersfield, 
Ca; two brothers Charles "Toss" McMillen of Tishomingo and Bill McMillen of 
Wilson; eight grandchildren;  Billy Ray Abshire III; Los Banos California, 
Bonnie Hiltner; Las Vegas Nev, Desiree Abshire;Ozark Mo,  Adam Sanchez; 
Merced California, Joey, Aaron and Marissa Silva; Coulterville California, 
and Jenny Abshire; Ozark Mo. Two great granchildren; Alex Abshire and Jozie 
Toscano; Los Banos, California.

Pall bearsers will be David Fulton, Kevin Silva,and grandsons: 
Billy Abshire III, Adam Sanchez, Joey Silva and Aaron Silva.
