Ballard, Lorena A.

Lorena A. Ballard, 89, a resident of Ventura County for 68 years, 
passed away on Monday, Feb. 5, 2007.

She was born on Jan. 4, 1918, in Newport, Okla., to Joe and Cora 
Cantrell.

Mrs. Ballard enjoyed quilting, cooking and gardening and attending 
her church and making her personal relationship with God grow more 
each day.

Lorena is now reunited with her husband, Valton Ballard, and 
brothers, Almouth and J.B. Cantrell.

She leaves behind her sons, Richard (wife Debbie) Ballard and Kenneth 
(wife Vickie) Ballard; grandchildren, Corey Phillips, Nicole (husband 
Jeff) Stetler, Scott Ballard, Michael (wife Melissa) Ballard, Bradley 
(wife Jennifer) Ballard and Kimberly Ballard; and great-grandchildren, Bailey Stetler and Trinity, Esther, Riley, Jordan, 
Olivia, Ashlynn and Austyn Ballard.

A graveside service will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, at 
Pierce Bros. Santa Paula Cemetery, with Pastor Roger Weaver 
officiating.
