Cryptside service: 4 p.m. Saturday in Greenwood Mausoleum. Memorials: charity of choice. Mrs. Boone was born Sept. 25, 1907, in Ardmore, Okla. She taught and served as a counselor in the Fort Worth Independent School District for 37 years, starting in 1930. Frances Weeks Boone was the wife of Samuel Gilbert Boone of Fort Worth. She was a life member of the Woman's Club of Fort Worth, past worthy matron and past district deputy grand matron of Eastern Star Chapter 8 in Fort Worth. Fran was a charter member of St. Stephen Presbyterian Church and a member of the Fisher Class. Fran was preceded in death by her parents, Rowland and Lucy Weeks, and her husband, Samuel Gilbert Boone. Survivors: Sister-in-law, Thelma Weeks of Edenton, N.C.; cousins, Wayne Duncan of San Antonio, Lee Pelton-Shapiro of Dallas and Norma Bonner of Sweetwater; and stepson, John Boone of Harlington.
