Titled: To hold Rites for Deese Boy. Walter Wesley Christian, 14, Dies Here As Result of Tetanus. Funeral Services for Walter Wesley Christian, 14 year old son of Mrs. George W. Christian, Deese, who died in a local sanitarium early Thursday of Tetanus, will be held at Newport, Thursday afternoon at 4 o’clock conducted by Rev. E.H.. Maddox, pastor of Carter Avenue Methodist church here. Bettes funeral home is in charge of arrangements. In addition to his mother, the boy is survived by the following brothers and sisters, Henry Christian, Deese; Ed Christian, Pocasset; Mrs. Katie Butler, Enterprise; Mrs. Margaret Powers, California; Mrs. Hilda Guinn, Mrs. May Belle Martin, Enterprise, and Mattie Christian, Deese.
