All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Quanah Memorial Park--Quanah TX Aaron Carr Jr. QUANAH - Aaron Carr Jr., 74, died Saturday, Oct. 23, 1999. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Eighth and Main Street Church of Christ with Morris Green, minister of Patterson Street Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in the Quanah Memorial Park by Price-Jackson Funeral Home. Mr. Carr was born in Tatums, Okla., and was a master plumber for Jones Plumbing Company for 25 years. He served with the Navy during World War II and was a lifetime member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was also a member of Patterson Street Church of Christ. He married Mae Frances Moore in 1975 at Vernon. Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Linda Clinton of Duncan, Okla., Mona Hendrix and Teresa Johnson, both of El Paso and Geneva Carr of Lawton, Okla.; two brothers, Matthew Carr of Oklahoma City and Charles Carr of Ardmore, Okla.; six sisters, Erma Young and Willie Lee, both of Tatum, Okla., Corine Doakes of Beggs, Okla., Mary Hill and Mildred Moore, both of Lawton, Okla., and Della Colbert of Brownwood; three stepchildren, Pat Mitchell of Amarillo, Robert Wesley Jr., of Duncanville, and Renae Moore of Grand Prairie; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
