Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church with Dr. Bennie Slack of the church officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery by Clement-Keel Funeral Home of Gainesville. Mr. Cypert was born in Ardmore, Okla., and had been a resident of Gainesville for 42 years. The owner of Watts Brothers Pharmacy, he was a member of the American Pharmaceutical Association, the National Association of Retail Druggists, and the Cooke, Grayson and Fannin County Pharmaceutical Association. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Gainesville. Mr. Cypert was a former mayor and city councilman. He was a member of the Gainesville Area Chamber of Commerce where he was a past director, the Gainesville Industrial Foundation, the Development Authority and the Downtown Merchants Association. He served as district chairman of the National Federation of Independent Businessmen and was a charter member of the Gainesville Jaycees. He was a former president of Fairview Cemetery Association and a former member of Texas Regional Planning Commission. He married Connie Scott in 1956. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Greg Cypert of Hockley, and Chris Cypert of Gainesville; two daughters, Cindy Rowley of Amarillo and Teri Cypert of Pensacola, Fla.; a brother, Jack Cypert of Snyder; a sister, Novella Hollimon of Oklahoma City; and five grandchildren.
