T. HARRIS DIES SUDDENLY J. T. HARRIS, of Pooleville, dies suddenly while returning home from Ardmore. He was accompanied by his son, Tom Harris (THOMAS NEWTON HARRIS), and each of them was driving a wagon and had arrived within eight miles of Pooleville when one of the wagons stuck in the mud. JIM HARRIS had left his wagon and succeeded in lifting a piece of timber to be used in extricating the wagon, when suddenly he exclaimed, "I have give out." and fell dead. J. T. Harris was born in Texas, April 2nd. 1854. He was married to Rosa (Smith) Harris March 6, 1873. Has been a member of the Baptist Church for forty-two years. He was highly esteemed in the community where he lived and his loss will be much felt. Besides his wife he is survived by nine children.
