All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Lakewood Memorial Park--Hughson CA Holloway, Oroville OROVILLE HOLLOWAY JUNE 18, 1923 - JUNE 15, 2006 Oroville Holloway was born in Wilson, Oklahoma, June 18, 1923 to Walter and Allie Holloway. He came with the family when he was 13 to Hickman, CA. He married Neva Emig, on August 17, 1942. They would have been married 64 years this year. He passed away just shy of his 83rd birthday. Oroville was drafted into the Army in February 1943 and was stationed at Camp Swift, TX. He will be missed but he has suffered so much pain for the last two years. He passed away June 15, 2006. He his survived by his wife, Neva; son, Michael Holloway and his wife Mercy, one grandson, Brian Holloway, one granddaughter Kimberly Prestridge, two great-grandchildren: Nicolas and Priscilla Prestridge, one brother, Wayne Holloway and his wife Grace, numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Holloway; brother, Aaron Holloway, and a sister, Vivian Spencer. He loved to hunt, fish, and go camping in his younger days. He fed every kind of bird that existed: doves, finches, humming birds, sparrows, cottontails, etc. He loved to sit on the front porch and watch them all eat together. There will be a viewing from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday, June 21, 2006 at Lakewood Funeral Home with a graveside service Wednesday, June 22, 2006 1 p.m. at Lakewood Memorial Park.
