Kirkpatrick, 71, a retired medical examiner's investigator, died Thursday, Feb. 9, 2006, at a North Richland Hills hospital. Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Burial: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Biggers Funeral Home. James Kirkpatrick was born Sept. 17, 1934, in Ardmore, Okla., and had lived in Saginaw since 1966. He was a police officer for the Fort Worth Police Department for 18 years before becoming an investigator with the Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office in 1981. He was a former member of the Lions Club, the Rotary Club and the Oddfellows, where he was a past Noble Grand. Survivors: Wife, Patsy Kirkpatrick of Saginaw; sons, Dennis Kirkpatrick and wife, Carol, of Fort Worth and Eddie Kirkpatrick and wife, Camea, of Keene; sisters, Joyce Creacy of Lubbock and Lynda Hawkins of Arlington; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
