Dolores was born August 13, 1935 in Fox, OK to John O'Neill & Iva (Breedlove) Bostick. Mom moved a lot during her childhood due to her dad's career in heavy construction, which in 1952 took her to Jamestown, ND where she met our Dad. They married in 1953 & moved to Renton, WA where they raised their two daughters. In 1971 Mom & Dad moved to OKC. They divorced in 1977 but remained lifelong friends until his death in 1990. Mom enjoyed her career in the medical profession for 42 yrs, retiring in 2000. She met & made many friends through the years, & loved her patients & all of the people she worked with. She also loved to paint & looked forward to caring for her flowers each season. Mom also enjoyed fishing trips & trips to Tunica with Ross & Becky. Mom was smart, funny, a talented artist, quick witted & made friends easily. Truly an 'original'. She had a generous spirit & was beautiful on the inside as well as the outside. Her family was important to her & she was especially proud of her granddaughters (who called her 'Nana'), & she loved them dearly. Mom was preceded in death by her parents, sisters: Catherine Deputy & Marjorie Reed & brothers: John & Joseph Bostick. She is survived by her daughters, Terry L. Pinion & Perri D. McFadden of OKC; her granddaughters Natalie Pinion of NC, Courtney Pinion of OKC, Emilie Vaughan of OKC, & Stephanie Vaughan of NYC. She is also survived by her best friend of 30 yrs Houston Ross, & best friend Becky Ewy of 20 yrs, both of OKC. She loved them as her own family. She is also survived by brother-in-law, Bob Deputy, many cousins, nieces, & nephews, aunts & uncles. We will all miss her so much & she will always be in our hearts. Mom loved her little home & her family feels it befitting to honor her with a small visitation memorial in her home for all friends & family that wish to attend. Buffet will be served. All are welcome & may drop by anytime between 6-9 pm, Tuesday, Feb. 11th. In lieu of flowers please make donations to your favorite charity.
