  Gilbert Morris

  Services for Gilbert M. Morris will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Bettes Chapel 
  with Rev. Wiggins officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
  Morris was born June 13, 1901 in Legate, Indian Territory. He died Dec. 8.

  Survivors include his wife, Velma Massey Morris, of the home; a son, 
  Harold G., Ardmore; a sister, Kitty Alexander, Vernon, Tex; three 
  grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

  Serving as bearers will be Morris Keeton, Ted Jackson, Jack Almon, 
  Dewey Colmaster and Irving Anderson. Honorary Bearers will be Horace Schockly,
  Buddy Ward, J.R. Adams, James Cox, W.G. Lamb, Morgan Morris, E.V. Cox and 
  Sanford Massey. Services are under the direction of Bettes Funeral Home.
