Richardson, 73, drew his last breath on this earth Tuesday, March 29, 2005, at 4:50 p.m. His battle with Glioblastoma, an aggressive brain cancer, was short, as symptoms surfaced only three weeks prior to his death, but he fought bravely. Graveside service: 2 p.m. Monday in D/FW National Cemetery. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Greenwood Funeral Home. Memorials: Vitas Hospice, 2501 Parkview Dr., Suite 600, Fort Worth, Texas 76102. Marx was born in Lone Grove, Okla. He dedicated 26 years to the U.S. Air Force. Ridgmar E2on and Fort Worth Auto Clinic became his second career. He collected antique clocks and was an avid Model A car collector. He was an active member of the Fort Worth Cowtown As. He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Betty, who passed away last spring; he never fully recovered from that loss. Survivors: Daughters, Terah Davis, Marilyn Richardson Offutt, Linda Nelson and Lorie Griffith; grandchildren, Chris Andrew, Amy Driscoll, Wade Nelson, Rachel Offutt, Garrett and Rose Ella Griffith; three great-grandchildren plus one on the way; sister, Annabelle King; mother-in-law, Mona Swafford; and numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews.
