Submitted by: Kathy Pitts ellen@oio.net ------------------------------------------------------------------------- EDNA FARVE SHOEMAKER Edna Farve Shoemaker, 80, passed away June 29, 1999 in Philadelphia, Mississippi. She was born October 14, 1918, at Brock, Oklahoma to William J. and Madina Baptiste Farve. A resident of the Ardmore area most of her life, she married Austin C. Shoemaker on June 29, 1933, and was an instructional aide for the Bureau of Indian Affairs before she retired in 1982. She taught Sunday School to 4 year olds at First Baptist Church for 31 years. She had lived in Philadelphia since 1993. Mrs. Shoemaker was preceded in death by her husband in 1982. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Steve Murray, Philadelphia, and two grandchildren, Missy and Jason Murray.
