 RITES HELD MONDAY FOR MRS. MARY WARD WAY 

 (1954)

 WILSON--- Services were held in the Wilson Assembly of God Church, Monday, 
 for Mrs. Mary Ward Way, 75, Reck, who died here Sunday while caring for a 
 daughter, Mrs. Lillie Herring, who was sick.

 A life-long resident of Carter County, Mrs Way was born August 5, 1879.

 She is survived by a son: Edward, Dallas, Texas; daughters Mrs. Lillie 
 Herring, Mrs. Emma Banks, Ozwalt; one sister, Mrs Lizzie Heriott, Dallas, 
 and six brothers; Fred M. and U.C., both of Ardmore: John, Tulsa; Jim, Hatch, 
 N.M., Bob, Washington, Oklahoma;and Albert, Odessa, Texas. Her husband 
 Fred Way died in 1932.

 The Rev. E.W. Holder presided at the services. Burial in Hewitt Cemetery 
 was by Harveys of Ardmore.
