MRS. JOHN COX' MOTHER PASSES AT ARDMORE Funeral services were held at the family residence in Ardmore, Saturday afternoon at 2:30, for Mrs. Ed Whitford for twenty-five years a resident of Ardmore. Thought in declining health for a number of years, Mrs Whitford had only been confined to her home for the past two weeks. She succumbed to as attack of pneumonia early Friday. Rev. O. Hamblen, pastor of the First Baptist church of this city, conducted funeral services, with interment in Rosehill Cemetery. Mrs. Whitford had been a member of the First Baptist church since childhood. Possessed of many beautiful traits, Mrs. Whitford was one of Ardmore's best liked mothers. She will be sadly missed by her friends. Surviving are the husband, two daughters and two sons. Mrs. John Cox of this city is a daughter.
