Winblood, 86, a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, went to meet his Lord on Sunday, March 5, 2006. Memorial service: 11 a.m. Saturday in White's Chapel of Memories. Memorials: American Cancer Society. Marshall was born June 24, 1919, to William and Velma E. Winblood of Ardmore, Okla. He graduated from Ardmore High School. He attended Hardin-Simmons College and TCU classes sponsored by General Dynamics. Marshall retired from General Dynamics after 30 years working as a manufacturing supervisor and publications editor. He was a World War II veteran and served as armored force (tank) instructor at Fort Knox, Ky. Marshall was an independent oil and gas lease broker from 1974 to 1981. He was a member of the Masons. He and his wife moved from Ardmore to Weatherford in May 1991. Survivors: Wife, Charlene; sons, Marshall of Victor, Colo., Tommy M. and wife, Shirley, of Weatherford and David E. and wife, Lori, of Lake City, Colo.; stepdaughter, Edie Peplinski and husband, Frank, of Fort Worth; stepson, Rick Case of Magalia, Calif.; six grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
