Files may be printed or copied for personal use only. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ *************************************************************** TAHLEQUAH DAILY PRESS TAHLEQUAH, OK APRIL 16, 2002 JERRY HALL Tahlequah-Funeral services for Billie Gearaldean Hall, 78, of Tahlequah were held 10 a.m., Monday, April 15, 2002 in the Green Country Funeral Home Chapel. With Pastors Charles Keim and Robert Dewoody officiating. Interment followed in the Tahlequah City Cemetery under the direction of Green Country Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers were Bill Dudley, Paul Cook, Derwood Craig, Wayne Fisher, Charles Mayberry and Dale Hoffman. Honorary pallbearers were her grandsons, Timothy Kidd, James Kidd, Damon Harder, Treavor Harder, Gregory Bohler and Kenneth Blackbird. Born in Tahlequah the daughter of Arthur and Clare Drew Gates on Dec. 11, 1923, Jerry passed from this life on April 11, 2002, at the home in Tahlequah. Jerry was a life-long resident of Tahlequah and she worked as a beautician for 37 years. She loved sewing, crocheting and being a mother. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Unit 50, and since 1938 she was a member of the Baptist faith. Jerry was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three brothers, Arvel Abury and Stanley Gates; a son; and a grandson, Jarrett Kidd. In 1940, Jerry and George Wofford were married and there were four children to this union; A son, George Merideth Wofford, who passed away as an infant; and three daughters who survive her; Sue Kidd and husband Jim of Tahlequah, Ruth Jayne Bohler of Florissant, Mo., and George Ann Harder and husband Paul of Olathe, Kansas. Also surviving her are six grandsons; 12 great-grandchildren; one greatgreat-granddaughter; a sister, Evelyn Barton of Wichita, Kan.; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and loved ones.
