Officiating will be Rev. Jess French. Serving as pallbearers will be Tracy Philpott, Dwain Hendricks, Michael Bunch, Roy Sparks Jr., Donald Trammel and Gensing Trammel. Honorary pallbearer will be George Dobson.Donald Clifford Guy Jr. was born Jan. 2, 1947, in Anadarko, son of Donald Guy Sr. and Ruth Mae (Parks) Guy. Don passed from this life on Monday, Feb. 25, 2008, in Tulsa.Don was employed by the Cherokee Nation for 16 years where he worked in the warehouse, housekeeping and, most recently, the mailroom. Don loved delivering the mail. He enjoyed looking for arrowheads and taking road trips, but above all he enjoyed the time he spent with his grandson. Don was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Guy Sr. and Ruth Mae Guy; and a brother-in-law, Bob McHenry.Those left behind to cherish his memories are his wife, Peggy, of the home, who he shared his life with since Dec. 31, 1976; a son, Cory Guy and his wife, Katie Sparks, of Tahlequah; a grandson, Austin Lee Guy; two brothers, Robert Guy and Steven Guy; two sisters-in-law, Marie Hamilton and Eva Anderson; as well as a host of other friends and loved ones who will miss him dearly.
