Archivist, billcook44@aol.com *********************************************************************** Tahlequah Daily Press, Sept. 24, 2002 INA ELIZABETH BRADY 1915 ~ 2002 TAHLEQUAH-Funeral services for Ina Elizabeth Brady, 87, of Tahlequah, were held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2002, at the Reed-Culver Funeral Home, with Rev. Charles Keim. Officiating. Burial followed at the Downing Cemetery in Baron Ok, located in Adair County near Westville. Pallbearers included Sherman Coombes, Jimmy Cochran, Larry Freeman, Lindel Adair, Phillip Logan, and Jack Parnell. Honorary pallbearers are Amon Baker and Cecil Shipp. Ina Elizabeth Brady was born July 29, 1915, at Baron, the daughter of Wade and Cleo (Duncati) Brady, and she passed from this life on Sunday, Sept. 22, 2002, in Tahlequah. Ms. Brady graduated from Westville High School, and then attended Haskell Institute in Lawrence, Kan. She then transferred to Oklahoma A&M in Stillwater. She taught a few years in Colorado before moving to Tahlequah, where she was in civil service as a guidance counselor in the boy's department at Sequoyah High School. She attended Southside Baptist Church in Tahlequah. Ms. Brady was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by a sister, Zelda Rains and husband Earl, of Tahlequah; and a niece, Earleene Rhoades and husband Ron, of Catoosa.
