She had been in poor health for several months, however long the illness, the passing is always a shock. Mrs. Cook was born in Union Co. Georgia April 30, 1872 and was married to A.J. To this union 13 children were born, eleven of whom survive as follows, Henry, John, William C., Sam (Samuel Wilburn), Robert, Mrs. Dora Collins, Mrs. Minnie Brixey, Mrs. Della Cardinal and Miss Louella Cook. (Also Tennie and Luther Cook not shown in paper) Mrs. Cook was happily converted when fourteen years of age and united with the Methodist Church in which communion she lived while she was called to her reward on last Saturday. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother and a true friend. Funeral services were held at Grandview Sunday afternoon by the Rev. T.O. Shanks, who has twice been her pastor assisted by Rev.
