Files may be printed or copied for personal use only. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ *************************************************************** TAHLEQUAH DAILY [PRESS TAHLEQUAH, OK SEPTEMBER 14, 2001 KATHERYN MILDRED FORD Tahlequah--Funeral services for Katheryn Mildred Ford, 75, of Tahlequah, will be held at 2 p.m./ Saturday, Sept. 15, 2001, at the Reed-Culver Funeral Home with Rev. David L. Young officiating. Burial will follow a the Moody Cemetery under the direction of the Reed-Culver Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Zach Ford, Dylan Ford, Rusty Thomas, Jesse Brackett, Lance Harless, and Dale Dreadfulwater. Honorary Pallbearers are Chris Sartain and Harland Clary. Katheryn was born May 17, 1926, in Bentley, Atoka County, the daughter of Wyatt and Marlin (Sewell) Wilhite and she passed from this life on Wednesday, Sept. 12, in Tulsa. Her mother passed away at an early age, so Katheryn grew up in an orphanage in Tipton. She was married to Lester Ford June 28, 1947, and they lived in California for 38 years. They returned to Tahlequah in 1980. Katheryn was a loving mother and homemaker. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Katheryn was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and a sister, Alma Dean Zunino. She is survived by one son Lester Ford Jr. of Welling; three daughters, Sheila Stagnaro of Stockton, Calif., Betsy Clary of Gravett, Ark., and Stephanie Ford, of Tahlequah; one brother Max Wilhite of Sheboygan, Wis.; one sister, Beulah Young of Lake Texhoma, Texas; nine grandchildren and four great- grandchildren.
